About the Job

This role is a fantastic opportunity for a Growth Marketing Lead who will be responsible for marketing strategy to drive customer acquisition and retention. You will ensure the success by:

 

 

  • Accountable for digital acquisition campaigns, keeping tabs on our performance, constantly optimizing, monitoring and reducing our CPA
  • Lead PPC and Paid Social activity across multiple regions and languages
  • Manage acquisition and conversion via digital channels
  • Responsible for developing and implementing a strategy to increase inquiries into Missafir’s services
  • Conversion Rate Optimisation
  • Assure our landing pages are designed to maximize conversions
  • Utilize web analytics to understand customer journeys and identify opportunities to improve them
  • Apply customer data to drive continuous improvement
  • Gather and analyze data from various sources, with experience of using Google Analytics

 

 

Who You Are/Have

 

  • Have a strong academic background: BA/BSc/MA/MSc from a top tier university
  • Effective experience in growing quality traffic through a mix of organic and paid for strategies and tactics, leveraging disciplines like social media, content marketing and lead generation, SEO, PPC, email marketing etc.
  • Proficient experience in setting up and managing paid media campaigns in self-serve ad platforms (e.g. Facebook Business, Google Adwords)
  • Familiarity with the tracking and measurement of digital marketing campaigns (e.g. URL and pixel tracking)
  • Creative and analytical skills with the strong bias to action and execution
  • Enthusiastic about the customer and always put them at the front of your thinking
  • Analytical skills, perhaps you even know some SQL to help make your analysis faster
  • You are self-motivated and do not wait to be told what to do; able to relentlessly follow up.
  • You love data and have experience using a data-centric approach to driving growth in a start-up environment
  • You may have experience in the travel, leisure and/or property space

Growth and building a dynamic profile is at the heart of being an account manager at Missafir.

As an Account Manager you must ensure the success of a varied portfolio of Missafir properties of new and existing customers by:

  • Achieving a deep understanding of Missafir’s value proposition in addition to demonstrating the platform’s benefits and capabilities to maintain existing accounts and ensure high satisfaction levels
  • Ensuring all our current Hosts’ questions, comments and concerns are answered. Our host queries range from the mundane to the challenging – from maintenance to pricing strategy. You are the NPS champion of Missafir!
  • Be a partner to our Hosts in helping them achieve success with their home being let via Airbnb and various platforms.
  • Work across different operational teams to ensure that Hosts’ needs as fulfilled. Partnering with Missafir’s marketing and yield management team to align on client needs, use cases and success stories.
  • Achieving a deep understanding of Missafir’s value proposition in addition to demonstrating the platform’s benefits and capabilities to win new business through referrals and maintain existing accounts.

Who You Are

  • You have 1 – 3 years as Account Manager or have a great customer success experience with great phone manner!
  • You completed BSc/BA or MSc/MA in a top tier university
  • You have experience in actively interacting and growing a portfolio of accounts – think more B2C than B2B – this role is not a passive management of large accounts. Role in other startups is a bonus!
  • You are incredibly organised: efficiency is key.

About the job

This role is a fantastic opportunity for a Full-Stack Developer with a passion for world-class product development. You will be trusted for developing and improving Missafir products and tech-enabled operations tools. You will ensure the success by:

  • Improving the marketing website focused on property owners (e-writing with using react-static option)
  • Creating dashboard for our property owners to understand how we are looking after their properties and making them money (react.js)
  • Developing a booking platform where you can book cleaning services, or someone to meet your guests (next.js)
  • A mobile app that our housekeepers, runners and guest welcomers use (react-native)
  • Developing a tool to price all of our properties, and list across multiple booking sites (Airbnb, Booking.com, Homeaway etc.), used by our team of pricing experts (either ember.js or react.js)
  • Operational efficiency tool to algorithmically optimise the schedule of our field staff, so that they can move around the city in the most efficient way, used by our operations team (node.js or react.js)
  • Developing guest experience web app tool for collecting necessary information, docs and upsell products
  • Backend systems to manage all of our bookings, properties, guests etc. from the office (node.js)

Who you are

We’re looking for passionate Full Stack Engineers to join our tech team and build Missafir products! Ideally, you:

  • Have a strong academic background: BA/BSc/MA/MSc from a top tier university
  • Have at least 3+ years’ on-the-job experience in Full Stack / Front End / Back End Engineer role
  • You are proficient in node.js runtime
  • You’ve worked with distributed version control systems such as Git or Mercurial, and loved them
  • You’re experienced in AWS, especially EC2, RDS, and S3 (and other acronyms we may not have even heard of yet)
  • API development using Express.js backed by SQL database
  • Experience with RDMS like MySQL
  • DevOps experience using elastic-beans-stalk or docker in AWS is a bonus

About the Job

This role is a Guest Experience Intern role which will suit an individual who wants to gain valuable experience and exposure at a rapidly growing start-up. You will be the intermediary between guests and local operations team – before, during and after the booking process.

  • Be trusted implicitly with hosts’ most-prized possession: their home!
  • Answering inbound and making outbound calls to resolve guest issues
  • Working towards KPIs in relations to responding to client issues via email in a timely and accurate manner
  • Liaising with internal teams to ensure guest resolution is swift and seamless
  • Working hard to achieve targeted NPS scoring
  • Using your initiative when reducing refunds balanced with the client’s expectation
  • Having demonstrable skills of time management and prioritising heavy workload and tasks
  • Coordinate our cleaning, maintenance and emergency logistics services – no day is ever the same at Missafir and it is our job to solve all those unexpected issues when they arise to ensure that our guests have a flawless stay
  • Put your slick social skills to use daily, liaising between multiple teams across the business and, of course, our external maintenance partners and suppliers
  • Help the Operations team in the day-to-day, being their eyes in the office, managing the schedule and, assisting them with their troubleshooting
  • Send out a morning report to the Operations team members highlighting the urgent tasks that requires action

 

Who You Are

  • A travel enthusiast, obviously, but you also eat and drink where the locals do
  • The best time-manager in Turkey! We answer all guest enquiries within an hour, and you’ll need to maintain (or improve, if you fancy a challenge) this level of service
  • You are an individual that has worked in high-level customer service multichannel contact centre and has a demonstrable background in achieving KPIs and delivering seamless customer service
